Uniroyal Engineered Products is a leading manufacturer of vinyl coated fabrics that are durable, stain resistant, cost-effective alternatives to leather, cloth and other synthetic fabric coverings. The company manufactures automotive, specialty and Naugahyde brand products at its manufacturing plant in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. The company is not able to sponsor visas at this time.

Job Summary

The Assistant Production Supervisor supports the Production Supervisor in overseeing daily manufacturing operations. You'll help ensure that production goals are met on schedule, maintain quality standards, support the team, and help drive continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into a leadership position with increasing responsibility.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist in supervising and coordinating day-to-day production activities.

* Work closely with operators and leads to meet production targets and quality standards.

* Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and help implement solutions for efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operating procedures.

* Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to production staff.

* Help maintain production records, reports, and documentation.

* Step in for the Production Supervisor when they are unavailable.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean practices.

Experience,

Skills and Abilities

* Required:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.

* Basic computer skills (e.g., email, production tracking systems).

* Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (production, lead, or similar).

* Preferred:

* Experience with vinyl or fabric assembly processes (helpful, not required).

* Prior assistant supervisory or lead experience.

Education and Technical Requirements

* High school diploma

* Experience in supply chain management and logistics preferred.

Schedule

* Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Hours may vary)

Salary Salary is negotiable based on experience.
