Cafe Cook

Stoughton Health offers an excellent opportunity for a Cafe Cook to join our Food and Nutrition team on a full‑time basis.

The Cook is responsible for assembling ingredients, preparing and portioning soups, entrees, meats, starches, vegetables, and salads primarily for cafe service. This position may also prepare food for catered functions.

• Basic reading and comprehension skills (Required)
• Post‑secondary education in food preparation (Preferred)
• Previous experience in institutional food preparation (Professional Experience)
• Serv Safe/Food Manager certification – Wisconsin within six months of hire (Certification)
• Basic computer skills: access email, internal websites, electronic health records, use online learning tools for continuing education (Computer Competency)
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills: open a document, change font, save a document, write a letter (Microsoft Office Skills)

• Full‑time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 hours per week
• Monday‑Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• Occasional weekend work if needed
