About the roleThe Activities Coordinator will work with a dedicated team to enrich the lives of residents through engaging, creative and inclusive activities. You will be devoted to fostering a positive environment forán residents, their families and your colleagues.
Key responsibilities- Plan and deliver a wide range of leisure and social activities for residents.
- Collaborate with staff to incorporate residents’ preferences and promote wellbeing.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that welcomes participation, support and fun.
- Respond to trends, new ideas and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the day‑to‑day operations of the care home, including planning and ward logistics.
- Teamwork – a positive team mood leads to a happier residents.
- Strong communication – both verbal and written are essential.
- Flexibility – adopt a flexible approach and be prepared for changing demands.
- Genuine caring and respect for older people.
- Enthusiasm and positive energy to share with residents and staff.
