Behavior Technician (Part-Time, Nepali-Speaking Required) – Stow, OH

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8AM – 12PM

Spark Joy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking a compassionate, Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy to a child with autism in Stow, OH

Your Role

• Work 1:1 with a child in-home using individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Teach communication, daily living, and social skills.
• Collect data and collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs.
• Support families through parent training and consistent communication.
• Translate and support the family in their native language when appropriate.

Work Environment

This job operates in a client’s home. Candidates must be comfortable entering homes and neighborhoods within the assigned area.

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Experience in early intervention (ages 2–6).
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• A passion for helping children grow and succeed.
• Reliable transportation to client homes in Akron.
• Fluency in Nepali and willingness to translate as needed.

Job Details

• Part-time: ~20 hours/week, potential for full-time as well.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8AM–12PM.
• Pay: $17–$22/hour (direct).
• Location:
  
  In-home (Stow, OH).
