Growing company, SPIROL Shims, Stow, OH is currently adding full time positions for 2nd and 3rd shift EXPERIENCED Surface Grinders. The experienced candidate will be responsible for operating grinding equipment designed to remove material from production parts to achieve any or all of the part requirements for thickness, flatness, parallelism, or surface finish.

• Operate the grinding equipment and perform the necessary grinding procedures to achieve the specifications required per the product blueprint or job production line up
• Properly read and understand blueprints including symbols, specifications, and dimensional limitations.
• Properly use and read inspection gauges and tools including micrometers, calipers, and check gauges.

• Must have at least three years prior experience using production metal grinding equipment.
• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, prints and production routing.
• Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment.
• Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals and coordinate activities in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• No sitting, lifting or bending restrictions. Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to pass post-offer background check, drug test and physical.
