Wellness Nurse – Eden Vista Stow, Stow, Ohio

Base Pay Range

$28.00/hr – $30.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to ensure the safety, comfort, and well‑being of our residents in a warm and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation.
  • Direct day‑to‑day activities of nursing assistants.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians and perform other drug administration.
  • Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisor, and family.
  • Complete required record keeping upon residents’ admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
Desired Qualities
  • Customer‑service oriented.
  • Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN license in good standing.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current care standards, regulations, and medication laws.
  • Experience in hands‑on care of memory‑impaired residents.
  • Ability to maintain and update effective service plans and supervise care staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in long‑term care is preferred.
  • Professional, compassionate interaction with residents, families, and staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate or future graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Hold a current state license as an LPN.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an LPN in a long‑term care setting.
  • Natural problem solver.
  • Committed to interacting professionally with residents, families, and other staff.
