Hudson Springs is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Nurse Educator to join our long-term care team. The RN Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating staff education and training programs that promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality resident care. This position plays a critical role in onboarding new employees, maintaining competencies, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for new nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs).
• Assess ongoing training needs and provide in-service education based on regulatory requirements, performance trends, and clinical best practices.
• Coordinate mandatory annual training and competency assessments.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with leadership and department heads to address skill gaps and improve outcomes.
• Ensure documentation of all training activities in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor staff compliance with infection control, abuse prevention, resident rights, and other key policies.
• Assist in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

• Pay Range: $90,000 – $93,000

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio (in good standing)
• CPR Certification (BLS preferred)
• Strong background in nursing administration with prior experience in nursing homes as a RN Nurse Educatorli>
• Proficient in managing medical records systems and documentation processes.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Knowledge of acute care practices and the ability to develop effective care plans.
• Excellent shift management capabilities to ensure efficient operations.
• Strong analytical skills for documentation review and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
