POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS:The position of Golf Course worker in the City of Stow is unclassified by the Stow Civil Service Commission, is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not included in a collective bargaining agreement

PURPOSE:Supports the daily operations and maintenance of the golf course and clubhouse during the active season. These positions assist with course upkeep, guest services, and general facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for golfers and visitors.

Grounds Crew / Maintenance

Focus:

Course conditioning and landscaping.
Key Tasks:

Mowing greens/tees, raking bunkers, and course setup (moving tees/cups).
Requirements:
Previous experience, early morning availability and attention to detail.

Must be at least 16 years of age (or as required by local labor laws).

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the golf season.
