Cover Supervisors

Cover Supervisors – Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in Stowmarket and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings without the responsibility of full lesson planning.

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task
• Deliver pre-prepared work and maintain a calm learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils with queries about the work set
• Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Uphold safeguarding and school procedures at all times

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
