Packaging Operative

Location: Stowmarket
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Overtime: Flexibility required for occasional weekends and overtime

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Packaging Operative to join our team. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced environment, ideal for someone with experience in food‑related production and a strong understanding of safety and hygiene standards.

• Weighing and handling bags of varying sizes (1kg, 16kg, and bulk 1-ton bags)
• Packaging products accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Operating a forklift truck (Counterbalance) safely and effectively
• Maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene across the site
• Supporting general warehouse and production activities as required

• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential)
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Flexible attitude towards overtime and weekend work when required
