Chef

We are working with our prestigious client to find them a Chef. You will be cooking Fresh, Home-Cooked Meals with the great benefits of no Late Nights, Rota Weekends and a Christmas shutdown, offering a fantastic work/life balance.
We’re seeking a talented Chef/Cook with a genuine passion for preparing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch. You’ll play a key role in creating nutritious and delicious dishes for up to 600 people, working in a lively, supportive kitchen environment.
In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare a variety of meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring every service is high-quality and enjoyable.
This role is offered on a term-time basis plus 7–10 weeks of holiday cover, including a full Christmas shutdown.
As the Chef, you will be:
 
* Preparing a range of dishes from fresh foods
 
* Serving across breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on a rota basis
 
* Assisting with functions
 
* Ensuring a high level of hygiene standards
 
* Clearing away and keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy
 
* Assisting with ad hoc catering requirements
As the Chef, you will have:
 
* Experience of cooking dishes up to 600 people in one sitting as part of a team
 
* Experience with in a similar setting
 
* A passion to deliver high standard nutritious meals
 
* A reliable and team minded spirit
