HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Tramping (Permanent Contract)

Provide service for BARR Personnel in Stowmarket. You will have your own vehicle Monday‑Friday. Tramping positions include early starts, up to four nights per week, occasional Saturday runs.

• Drive HGV Class 2 (Cat
  
  C) trucks within the assigned area.
• Handle early starts, nights and occasional Saturday runs.
• Maintain accurate log books and tachograph readings.
• Communicate with site colleagues and customers efficiently.

• HGV Class 2 licence (Cat
  
  C) held for at least 2 years.
• Drivers CPC card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• No DR, DD, DG or IN conviction codes on licence.
• Good communication skills with colleagues.
• Safety boots and hi‑vis apparel.

• Overtime after 10 hours.
• Guaranteed 10hrs per day.
• No deductions for breaks.
• Full‑time, ongoing work.
• Immediate start.
• Holiday pay.
• Weekly pay.
• Uniform provided.

• Act in a calm and professional manner at all times.
• Be upbeat, proactive and positive, with a can‑do attitude.
• Be professional and presentable at all times.
• Willing to work extended or unsociable hours during peak periods.
