Receptionist / Administration Assistant
Barnardo's is seeking to recruit an Administration Assistant (10 hours per week) in Strabane Sure Start.
The successful candidate must be flexible in approach to their work and demonstrate their ability to work effectively and systematically on their own and as part of a team. As well as technical and financial skills, the successful candidate should have experience of applying sensitive listening skills, must be able to communicate in a warm but professional and confidential manner with the ability to accurately record and forward calls and messages.
Strabane Sure Start service covers the electoral wards of Strabane
- East, North, South & West, Ballycolman, Finn, Plumbridge, Donemana and Sion Mills working with prospective Mum's during their antenatal period, and supporting families with children until their 4th birthday.
- Reception
- Administration of record keeping
- Finance
- General administration

Applicants must demonstrate how they meet the Essential criteria when completing the application form to secure an interview.
Essential Requirements- Demonstrable experience of using IT systems including the use of Word, a comprehensive knowledge of Excel and Database systems.
- Demonstrable experience of general office procedures
- Demonstrable experience of data inputting, maintaining records and producing statistical reports.
- Demonstrable experience of telephone/reception duties.
