We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication expertise, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and work with various materials. Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components
  • Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials with precision using appropriate tools
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all welds and fabrications meet safety standards and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in welding
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural steel
  • Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately
  • Experience in working with various materials such as steel, aluminium, or other metals
