As the business continues to invest in people, processes and plant, they are now seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing Manager to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across the site.

This is a high-impact leadership role, offering the opportunity to genuinely shape how the factory operates day-to-day, embedding lean principles and creating a culture of continuous improvement from the shop floor up.

Your day to day

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Lean Manufacturing Manager will take ownership of the site's lean strategy, working closely with production, engineering, quality and supply chain teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste and drive sustainable performance improvements.

  • Leading and embedding lean manufacturing methodologies across the site
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost and delivery
  • Identifying and eliminating waste through value stream mapping and data-driven analysis
  • Coaching and developing teams in lean tools and problem-solving techniques
  • Supporting production teams to improve throughput, OEE and right-first-time performance
  • Leading Kaizen events and structured improvement projects
  • Championing a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
  • Providing clear reporting and performance metrics to senior management
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a lean or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and CI methodologies
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • A track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to challenge existing processes and drive change in a practical, hands‑on way
