Store Supervisor

THE EMPLOYER IS: TRADESMAN NIThe Store Supervisor supports daily store operations by leading floor staff, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently in all departments. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, combining team leadership with product knowledge, merchandising, and operational oversight.

• Supervising employees, scheduling shifts, coaching performance, and onboarding new hires.
• Tracking stock levels, ordering merchandise, managing shrinkage, and ensuring accurate counts.
• Handling customer concerns, returns, and complaints while maintaining a positive store experience.
• Understanding tools, building materials, hardware, and basic DIY applications to assist customers and staff.
• Meeting sales targets, merchandising, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring smooth daily store operations.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
