Position: School Attendance Officer / Attendance Administrator
Location: Stratford

Attendance Officer / Attendance Administrator – East London
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Attendance Officer / Attendance Administrator to join a busy and supportive school in the heart of East London, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from major Tube and mainline train stations.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Monitor and manage daily pupil attendance and absence
 
* Maintain accurate attendance records using Arbor MIS
 
* Follow up unexplained absences and contact parents/carers
 
* Monitor persistent absence and support attendance interventions
 
* Produce attendance reports and maintain accurate pupil data
 
* Liaise with pastoral, safeguarding and senior leadership teams
 
* Provide general school administrative support where required
Essential Requirements
 
* Strong working knowledge of Arbor MIS – essential
 
* Previous school attendance or education administration experience
 
* Experience with pupil attendance, absence and attendance data
 
* Strong communication, IT and organisational skills
 
* Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
 
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
