Planner, Construction, Civil Engineering

Location: Newham

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Planner to join a leading UK developer on a landmark, multi-phase residential scheme of up to 3,000 units. This is a site-based role, offering the opportunity to be embedded in one of the region’s most significant long-term developments.

The Role:

You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of a complex, large-scale project from early phases through to completion. Working closely with construction, commercial and design teams, you will ensure programmes are robust, realistic and aligned with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, manage and update detailed construction programmes for a major multi-phase scheme

* Monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies

* Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior management

* Produce regular programme reports and progress updates

* Support short-term and long-term planning across multiple work streams

About You:

* Proven experience as a Planner on large residential or mixed-use developments

* Strong working knowledge of planning software (Asta Power project / P6 or similar)

* Experience working on complex, phased projects

* Confident communicator with the ability to work site-based in a fast-paced environment

* Background with a main contractor or developer preferred
