GCSE tutor SEN

Position: GCSE tutor with SEN experience
Location: Newham

The Role

Provide 1:1 tailored GCSE tuition to a student with Special Educational Needs

Deliver support in core GCSE subjects (e.g., English, Maths and/or Science)

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum

Support academic progress as well as confidence and exam readiness

Work closely with parents/carers and other professionals where required

Maintain clear records of progress and adapt strategies as needed

Ideal Candidate

Qualified teacher or experienced GCSE tutor

Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements

Experience working with children with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, learning difficulties)

Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach

Strong communication skills

Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

Available for in-person sessions in Romford
