The Role – KS2 Teacher

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality, well-structured lessons to a class of 29 pupils. You will adapt your teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of the class, ensuring inclusivity and effective support for pupils with SEN. The ideal candidate will provide a positive and encouraging classroom environment where children feel respected, motivated, and confident to achieve their best.

Ideally, you will have a QTS and prior experience within KS2.

This lovely primary school is based in Newham, just a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station. The school have 390 pupils enrolled, aged 3-11 years old and welcomes both boys and girls. This school provides high-quality teaching with lessons carefully adapted to meet the individual needs of each child. The school promotes a caring and inclusive ethos, ensuring pupils feel valued, supported, and equipped with the tools they need to succeed in their learning.

Children with SEN are effectively supported, including those with ASD and pupils who are non-verbal. The school has been rated good by Ofsted.
