The Role
As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, or other additional needs
Adapt learning materials to meet individual learning styles
Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons
Help implement EHCP targets and personalised support plans
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children with SEND (school, care or youth setting)
Be patient, nurturing and resilient
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Understand safeguarding and child protection procedures
Be committed to inclusion and equal opportunities
Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
