Salary: £35,000–£55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Teacher Active is currently recruiting a qualified and passionate Maths Teacher for a permanent position at a secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a dedicated department and contribute to students' progress and achievement.

We work closely with a wide network of secondary schools across London, helping teachers find opportunities that match their skills, experience and career aspirations. Our long-standing relationships with schools allow us to provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.

The successful candidate will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' mathematical understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills.

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
