Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Location: Silvertown

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major data centre project in East London, supporting the delivery of complex CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

This is a technically focused engineering role, working closely with the project and design teams to ensure the successful delivery of architectural fit-out and CSA packages in line with design intent, programme requirements, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate CSA works on site, with a strong focus on data centre architectural fit-out
Manage and monitor installation of white walls, doors, ceilings, resin flooring, beam and column encasements, and associated finishes
Work closely with the design team to review and verify technical details and construction information
Ensure works are compliant with relevant regulations, specifications, and quality standards
Review and manage technical submittals, drawings, and specifications
Prepare, issue, and respond to RFIs in a timely and coordinated manner
Support quality assurance processes, inspections, and snagging activities
Assist with coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline
Proven experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role within CSA or architectural packages
Previous experience on data centre or mission-critical projects is highly desirable
Strong technical understanding of architectural fit-out works
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated environment
