Our client is seeking a proficient Senior Backend Developer to join their dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications and APIs that power our core products. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement robust backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, participating actively in code reviews.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver software solutions.
- Implement security and data protection measures within the backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or No
SQL databases. - Solid understanding of API design principles (REST, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
