About the role:

As a Supplier Relationship Specialist at NFU Mutual, you’ll help drive strong supplier performance that supports key business outcomes and long term objectives. Working within Procurement’s growing Supplier Relationship Management team, you’ll support Business Technology, SaaS and Data suppliers, building effective partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve quality, cost, delivery and sustainability outcomes.

You’ll support the development and delivery of supplier account plans, coordinate supplier management activities, and aid the effective management of supplier contracts, including renewals, and contract changes. Working with suppliers and stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities to improve performance, drive innovation, enhance the value delivered through our supplier relationships, while contributing to the continued development of NFU Mutual's evolving Supplier Relationship Management capability.

You’ll monitor supplier performance and contract value delivery, helping to manage third party risk, resilience and compliance requirements.

Working closely with Legal, Risk and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure services and contracts remain aligned to business needs and regulatory requirements, providing management information that supports effective governance and informed decision making.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon.

You’re a skilled relationship builder who works confidently with stakeholders at all levels. You communicate effectively, build trusted partnerships, negotiate and influence with impact, and take a proactive approach to managing performance and driving continuous improvement. You’re comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on business outcomes.

To join NFU Mutual, you’ll also bring

  • Supplier relationship management experience, ideally within SaaS or technology enabled or data service environments
  • Contract lifecycle management and supplier performance management expertise
  • Third party risk and compliance management knowledge
  • Experience negotiating and managing contracts, with knowledge of procurement processes, commercial risk and contractual terms and conditions
Qualifications

Degree level education or equivalent

Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification
