Smart Education is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a KS2 class within a specialist setting in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a full-time permanent position beginning January 2026, ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, term-time position

• Join a dedicated KS2 team in a specialist SEND environment

• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

• Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive, nurturing learning space

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Experience supporting KS2 and/or SEND pupils preferred

• Strong communication, patience and resilience

• Ability to follow EHCPs and support individual learning needs

• Team-focused attitude and a positive approach to challenge

• Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across KS2

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities

• Support pupils with communication, independence and emotional regulation

• Work 1:1 or with small groups as directed

• Contribute to maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment
