Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant

School:
St Nicholas C of E Primary School, Alcester

Salary: TA2 Band F (7-11) – Pro‑rata £11,304 to £12,049

Hours:

18.5 per week

Working weeks: 39, Days a week: 5 mornings & 1 afternoon

Contract type:
Fixed Term (end date 20th July 2026)

Start date:

2nd February 2026

Closing date: 5th January 2026

Responsibilities
  • Supporting small groups in activities that have been planned by the class teacher.
  • Contributing to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Qualities
  • Highly motivated.
  • Calm.
  • Patient.
  • Able to adapt quickly to different situations.
  • Relevant experience and appropriate qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 are desirable.
  • Previous experience of supporting children with SEND would be an advantage.
  • Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
