About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role will involve providing tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering tailored learning programs for students with SEN
- Support individual students or small groups during class activities
- Help students develop social, communication, and academic skills
- Work alongside the class teacher to monitor progress and provide feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Support with personal care and wellbeing when required
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable (but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, caring, and dedicated to improving the lives of young learners
- A good understanding of the needs of students with various educational challenges
- A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the school community
