We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious mainstream secondary school in Evesham for a passionate and motivated PE Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school environment on an initial temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that promote participation, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity.
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage participation in both curriculum and extracurricular sport.
- Support the wider PE department and contribute to school sporting events.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and student engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student success.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
- Is passionate about sport, health, and physical education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Is committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for learners.
