Engineering Delivery Coordinator / Programme Delivery Engineer Maternity Cover Contract

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Engineering Delivery Coordinator / Programme Delivery Engineer to join our Engineering Delivery team on a maternity cover contract until September 2027.

Engineering Delivery plays a critical role in driving the precise execution of vehicle programmes, ensuring robust delivery through effective Technical Delivery Plans, Commodity Plans, and obstacle escalation processes. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple stakeholders and engineering functions, helping to ensure programmes are delivered to agreed cost, quality, and timing targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the day-to-day engineering contact within Vehicle Groups to support successful programme delivery.
  • Proactively monitor engineering programme health through agreed KPIs and drive the resolution of risks and issues.
  • Maintain the overall integrity and coherence of programme engineering content.
  • Manage communications and engagement with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide regular programme progress reporting against agreed milestones.
  • Support the delivery of engineering objectives to achieve programme targets for Cost, Quality, and Time.
  • Escalate and coordinate the resolution of programme obstacles when required.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the line manager in support of programme objectives.
