We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Support Worker to join our team. This role will be full-time at 37.5 hours per week.
Leading a team of Clinical Support Workers, this post offers an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of high quality patient care within a supportive environment. You will primarily work in the reception/outpatient area but will be expected to undertake a wide variety of both administrative and clinical duties.
You will primarily work from Monday to Friday at the Rigby Unit at Stratford hospital. This may also include evenings and bank holidays on a rotational basis. Flexible team working is essential to meet our service needs. You may also need to cross cover at the Aylesford Unit at Warwick hospital.
Experience as a Health Care Assistant, reception duties and proven computer skills are essential. You should have achieved or be working towards an NVQ level 3.

Main duties of the jobThe Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare, supporting the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care. Clinical Practice
To accurately and promptly carry out the instructions of the registered professional who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care.
To assist in the supervision of other healthcare and support staff as directed.
To be competent in venepuncture and support Band 2 CSWs in venepuncture practice.
To carry out duties as specified within the Trusts approved core task list for Clinical Support Workers/Healthcare Assistant without direct supervision.
To report to the registered professional any patient who gives cause for concern or any observed changes in the client or patients condition.
Provide and deliver a high standard of individualised care under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered professional.
To report all care that has been given to patients within the team to a registered professional.
