An exciting opportunity has become available within the Adult Community Health Services for an Operational Admin Lead. The post holder will support the Specialist Outpatient Services in Newham, including Musculoskeletal Services (MSK), Patient Appliance Service, Community Neuro Service, Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and the Speech and Language Team. This key role involves developing, implementing and overseeing performance management across these services alongside the Deputy Head of Specialist Outpatient Services and relevant Service/Team Leads.
Responsibilities- Support the development, coordination and oversight of the administration services.
- Provide day‑to‑day operational management of the clinical service and administrative function, delivering senior administrative support to the Service Manager.
- Collaborate with the clinical stack management team to support wider service development, including clinical improvements, data analysis and standard setting.
- Lead quality improvement (QI) projects within the administrative team.
- Operationally manage the administration staff within the clinical stack – supervising, conducting appraisals, providing training and support in line with trust policies.
- Ensure effective and efficient support is provided at all times, arranging assistance and cover where required and conducting routine huddles to distribute workload evenly.
