Quality Engineer; Commercial

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to take ownership of testing across a portfolio of commercial applications and integrations that sit at the heart of how we operate, from CRM and sales platforms through to wider digital transformation initiatives. This is a role where you’ll have real influence, shaping how quality is embedded across the lifecycle and ensuring every solution delivers exactly as it should.

You’ll be at the centre of delivery, working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners and third-party partners to define and execute robust testing approaches. From planning and coordinating test activity through to defect management and go‑live readiness, you’ll ensure everything is aligned, controlled and delivered to the highest standard. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a proactive mindset, identifying risks early, driving quality conversations from the outset, and continuously improving how we test.

This role goes beyond execution. You’ll help shape the future of testing within the commercial landscape, exploring opportunities for automation, enhancing tools and processes, and supporting broader digital transformation programmes to ensure solutions are scalable, stable and ready to perform at pace.

You’ll be confident navigating different delivery environments, whether Agile, Waterfall or hybrid, and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and suppliers. Strong experience across functional, regression, integration and UAT is key, along with a solid grasp of defect lifecycle management and the ability to communicate clearly on quality, risk and readiness. Experience with tools such as Jira, X‑Ray, Zephyr or Dev Ops will be important, alongside an understanding of compliance, data privacy and security within commercial systems.

We’re particularly interested in people who have worked across CRM platforms and integrations, and who understand the complexity of delivering change across interconnected business systems. Exposure to automation tooling or large‑scale transformation programmes will add real value, as will any experience in environments where quality and brand go hand in hand.

This role is based in Gaydon, with occasional travel to other sites if required.
