E-Commerce Administrator – Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire

E-Commerce Administrator – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) – Full-Time, Permanent
· Early finish Friday
· 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Do you know your way around Amazon Seller Central and want a role with more variety than a pure marketplace job? Our client, a growing e-commerce business near Bidford-on-Avon, is looking for a well-rounded E-Commerce Administrator to take ownership of their Amazon channel — and to get stuck into the logistics and marketing that sit either side of it.

This is deliberately a multi-hat role. Amazon is the core of it, but you'll also coordinate order fulfilment and returns, and support the marketing that drives online sales. It will suit someone who enjoys variety and wants to grow with an expanding online operation, rather than a specialist who only wants to work in one lane. Commutable from Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Redditch and Studley.

Key Details

Job Title:

E-Commerce Administrator (Amazon Marketplace)

Salary: £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Contract:

Permanent, full-time

Location:

Near Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire — office based

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 15:00 (some flexibility available for the right person)

About the Role

The role splits three ways:
Amazon marketplace management, order and returns logistics, and marketing support. You will make sure products are listed accurately and compliantly, orders reach Amazon and other fulfilment locations on time, and opportunities to grow online sales are spotted and acted on. You'll work closely with colleagues across sales, logistics and marketing, and have real scope to shape how the marketplace operation develops.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon and online marketplaces

Create, maintain and update product listings across Amazon and other online marketplaces

Review and optimise product content to improve visibility, customer engagement and sales performance

Check that all products meet Amazon's compliance standards for the UK and EU

Support the ongoing development and growth of the Amazon marketplace presence

Research and explore opportunities to expand into additional online marketplaces and sales channels

Resolve marketplace queries and support customers where required

Order administration and logistics

Coordinate and manage the administration of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery to Amazon and other fulfilment locations

Monitor and manage returns from Amazon, including overstocked, damaged or slow-selling items

Marketing support

Support the wider team with marketing activity linked to online sales — product content, promotions and campaign support

What We're Looking For

Hands-on experience of Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Vendor Central — this is essential

Someone genuinely well-rounded, who is happy wearing several hats across marketplace, logistics and marketing rather than working in a single specialism

Previous administration experience, ideally within e-commerce, sales support or logistics

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

The ability to work independently, self-motivated and able to problem solve

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Confidence working with data, product information and online systems

Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders

A proactive approach and a willingness to identify process improvements and growth opportunities

Desirable

Experience with Amazon PPC advertising, including budget monitoring, keyword and search optimisation, and reporting on ACOS / ROAS

Understanding of other online marketplaces such as eBay, TEMU, Joybuy or similar

Comfortable working with API-driven reports and automated data tools, or happy to learn the systems that feed them

Any marketing experience — product photography, copywriting, email or social

Strong IT skills — confident picking up new software and troubleshooting everyday technical issues independently

What's On Offer

£30,000 per annum + dependent on experience

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Private healthcare through Vitality
