Member care Assistant

Here in Wildmoor, Bannatyne is looking for a dedicated, detail‑oriented Member care Assistant to join our team.

21 hours per week.

£12.90 per hour.

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including changing rooms, showers, toilets, and poolside facilities
• Ensure gym equipment, floors, and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised regularly
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly, including managing outdoor litter and bin stores
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for members and staff
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines and procedures
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Provide a friendly, approachable service to members, addressing cleaning‑related inquiries promptly and courteously
• Maintain a professional demeanour and uphold the club’s reputation for excellent customer service
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock
• Perform basic maintenance tasks where possible (e.g. changing bulbs)
• Collaborate with other cleaning staff and club employees to keep all areas at the highest standards
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

• Previous experience in domestic or cleaning roles
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude
• Genuine passion for health, wellness and customer service
• Ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting and using cleaning equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (hours can be 5.30 am to 10.30 pm finishes)

Desirable: basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
