We are looking to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Mental Health Lead to join our pastoral team. The primary focus will be to lead and manage safeguarding, child protection,and mental health provision across the school. This is a new role due to the increasing safeguarding, child protection and mental health demands being presented and need to add capacity to our pastoral team.
The successful candidate will boost our capacity and ensure we havefull-time support available for our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads andother staff supporting this area.
We wish to recruit anon-teaching colleague as a DSL to help ensure we meet the needs of our students, are able to function effectively as a school and work closely withother agencies supporting our local community. We will provide external supervision to support thisrole.
This is a full year post, covering school terms,staff learning days and school holiday periods.
