At NFU Mutual, you’ll lead the delivery of high quality PMO services across programmes or portfolios within Group Change. You’ll help ensure effective assurance, governance and controls support the delivery of the Enterprise Change Portfolio to time, cost and quality.

You’ll shape programme and portfolio activity, lead a team of up to 10 PMO professionals with five direct reports and help develop the wider PMO service. Your work will include providing robust challenge, supporting sound business cases, maintaining clear reporting and ensuring risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources and plans are managed effectively. You’ll work with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business, using evidence to support timely decisions and improve delivery.

You’ll also build PMO capability by embedding consistent methods, standards and tools, developing colleagues and creating a trusted service that supports current and future portfolio delivery. The role offers career opportunities within PMO services and across change, delivery and assurance at NFU Mutual.

This is a full time role based in Stratford upon Avon, with a working pattern of 80% homeworking and 20% from the office.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford upon Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support working up to 80% of your hours from home.

You provide fair, constructive challenge, lead and develop people, and remain effective when managing multiple priorities under timeframe pressure.

Proven portfolio governance and assurance experience, including significant transformation projects over £5 million across the full project lifecycle

Strong project and programme controls expertise, including planning, scope, risk, issue and dependency management

Experience of financial, resource and third party supplier management, supported by good commercial awareness

Expert knowledge of PMO methodologies, frameworks and standards, with demonstrable experience in a Programme Management or Change Management Office Experience leading a PMO in a complex technical and IT environment, with exposure to a broad range of senior stakeholders
