Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Head of People Operations to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. As Head of People Operations, you will be leading the people team to achieve business goals, guiding them through engaging people-focused policies and best-in-class practices. You will be identifying improvement opportunities, developing strategies, and implementing solutions for positive change.

- Oversee team planning and distribution for event and non-event schedules, supporting the people team to ensure exceptional quality and appropriate scheduling of team members at the London Stadium
- Assign responsibilities to the people team, supporting strong relationships with team members to maximise engagement and performance
- Set and monitor direct booking and agency partner ratios, tracking KPIs to ensure effective scheduling solutions
- Ensure appropriate team training on the Time and Attendance System, building accurate templates and repeating rosters for optimal operations
- Manage agency relationships, proactively communicate with team members, and collaborate with operations and Talent Acquisition teams to support payroll processes, develop training, retention strategies, and build up the internal casual workforce
- Degree in a related field or 5+ years’ experience, including 2+ years’ experience in a similar organisation and role with a variable workforce, and managing multiple agency relationships
- Part CIPD Qualified or equivalent is beneficial
- Knowledge or ability to use an HR information system, including accessing, inputting, and compiling data
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, people focus, relationship building, customer service, and presenting, as well as organisation, time management, prioritisation, and project management
Ability to travel and work at the London Stadium, and possibly other venues as necessary
Availability to work evenings and weekends for matchdays and event days, due to events-based nature of the team
