Paint Prepper needed in Stratford-upon-Avon

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent Our client, a leading specialist in campervan conversions and vehicle refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Paint Prepper to join their skilled workshop team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing vehicles for high-quality paintwork, ensuring surfaces are primed, filled, and finished to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities as a Paint Prepper:
Prepare vehicle panels for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
Ensure all prep work meets manufacturer and industry standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
Collaborate with painters and other workshop staff to meet deadlines
Contribute to maintaining high levels of workmanship and quality

Requirements needed for the Paint Prepper role:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in paint preparation in an automotive or specialist bodyshop environment
Knowledge of sanding, filling, masking, and priming techniques
Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Good team player with reliable work ethic
