NDT Technician; Level 2

Position: NDT Technician (Level 2)
The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.

They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
• Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
• Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
• Generate work instructions
• Manage workflow to meet production requirements
• Prepare and authorise product test reports
• Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
• Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
• Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
• Strong team player

The role is Lates - Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am - Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm
