The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Alcester on a permanent night shift.
This is a hands-on role focused on the finishing of sheet metal components rather than welding. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products using a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Linishing and finishing stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components.
* Grinding, fettling and deburring fabricated metal products.
* Using hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required.
* Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are achieved.
* Working to production targets whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
* Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
* Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a sheet metal, fabrication or metal finishing environment.
* Skilled in linishing, grinding, deburring and fettling.
* Ability to use a range of hand and power tools confidently.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with stainless steel would be advantageous.
