Moulding Technician

We’re currently recruiting for a Mould Technician for an internationally established plastics manufacturer.

The Injection Mould Technician will be required to work a three shift pattern (6 am‑2 pm / 2 pm‑10 pm / 10 pm‑6 am) and work closely with production and tooling teams to improve processes, support new tool setups, reduce changeover times, and make sure everything is done right the first time.

You’ll also lead the tool change team, promote safe working, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant.

• Optimising moulding processes for quality and cycle time
• Leading and supporting the tool change team
• Setting up new tools and supporting start‑ups
• Improving tool change times through SMED activities
• Spotting issues and suggesting better ways of working
• Carrying out basic audits and supporting safe, tidy working practices

• Strong technical understanding of moulding and tool change processes
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
