Celebrating Shakespeare is at the heart of everything we do.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for Retail Sales Assistants to work at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Shop on Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon on a casual arrangement.
We are looking for enthusiastic retail team members to help make a visit to our Shakespeare’s Family Homes a memorable one. If you enjoy selling and would like to meet thousands of different people from all over the world united by their love of Shakespeare’s life, work, and legacy then we may have just the job for you.
Day-to-day tasks will involve advising and serving customers, dealing with retail deliveries, cleaning and merchandising of displays, adding value to customers’ purchases and experiences, and advising prospective visitors of the Trust’s offer.
Previous retail experience is preferential. Excellent customer service, an enquiring mind and an outgoing personality are essential.
There is no closing date for applications. We will shortlist applications as they are received and close the recruitment campaign when the roles are filled.
We will send you a confirmation email once you have sent your on-line application, where you will be able to complete your profile.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) in our recruitment practices and in the working practices of our staff and volunteers.
