Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer in Stratford Upon Avon to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site. The role requires applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and ad‑hoc site patrols, and other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In an emergency, the officer must follow prescribed escalation and communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.

The position is 48 hours per week (4 on, 4 off days, 06:00‑18:00).

What you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
• A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential
• A full UK manual driving licence – essential
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g., Excel)
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards

What are you going to do:

• Maintain car‑park management and overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site
• Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures
• Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision, if applicable
• Comply with site waste management procedures
• Complete required documents including daily occurrence logs, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports
• Remain familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise the Corps Duty Manager or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve
• Maintain your own training records via Corp Colleague Portal so that your skills remain up to date, especially first‑aid and fire‑marshal training in accordance with legislative guidelines
• Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and ensure your SIA licence is always displayed
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed
