Leamington Justice Centre (South of the County) or Nuneaton Justice Centre (North of the County) Pay Rate: £38.00 per hour Job Type: Locum | Full-Time Pertemps is recruiting for experienced Lead Child Protection Practitioners to join a well-established local authority in the West Midlands. This is a non-case-holding role, offering the opportunity to provide leadership, guidance and oversight to frontline Child Protection teams while supporting high-quality practice and positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide practice leadership and professional support to Child Protection teams. Offer guidance on complex safeguarding and child protection matters. Support quality assurance and promote best practice across the service. Chair meetings and contribute to strategy discussions where required. Mentor and coach social workers to support professional development. Ensure statutory responsibilities and performance standards are met. Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration. Significant experience within Child Protection services. Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
