This full-time role in Stratford, Ontario, emphasizes first-level support for hardware and software issues. With responsibilities including troubleshooting, documenting processes, and maintaining help desk records, the IT Technician ensures excellent service delivery. Collaborating closely with System Administrators and end users, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and adhere to established IT standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support for Help Desk requests
• Diagnose and resolve workstation and network issues
• Communicate effectively to update users on service requests
• Maintain and update Help Desk records accurately
• Install and configure client PCs and peripherals
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in IT or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years of relevant technical support
• Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
