IT Support Technician

Position: IT Support Technician ON
Join the Stratford Festival as an IT Support Technician, providing essential technical support and ensuring optimal IT operations in Stratford, Ontario. This full-time position offers valuable experience in troubleshooting and hardware maintenance.

You will support incoming Help Desk requests and collaborate with IT professionals to address and resolve technical issues promptly.

Your role will include documenting processes and maintaining accurate records, participating in IT projects while adhering to safety standards. Comprehensive support to users is key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve hardware/software Help Desk inquiries

• Communicate user concerns and provide timely updates

• Install and configure PCs and network printers

• Maintain accurate Help Desk tracking and documentation

• Aid in the implementation of special IT initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma in IT, Computer Systems, or Network Administration

• 1-2 years of relevant technical experience

• Strong knowledge of operating systems and business software

• Experience with Help Desk management practices

• Excellent communication skills for non-technical users
