Compassionate Behaviour Mentor

Join Milk Education as a Behaviour Mentor in Stratford, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in a full-time position. Make a meaningful difference every day by nurturing young people.

In this role, you will foster relationships with students, utilizing restorative and trauma-informed approaches to help them manage their emotions and behavior. Your contributions will include delivering targeted interventions and collaborating with teachers and external agencies to maximize student engagement and success. This full-time role operates during term time only and starts in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build positive relationships as a trusted role model

• Support SEMH needs using restorative approaches

• Deliver interventions to enhance wellbeing and engagement

• Assist during lessons to minimize disruption

• Respond effectively to challenging behavior

Requirements:

• Experience with children having SEMH or behavioral needs

• Understanding of trauma-informed practices and positive behavior support

• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively

• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people

• Committed to safeguarding children's welfare
