Dispatcher Intern

Position: Dispatcher Intern ON
Become part of Miller's team as a Dispatcher Intern in Stratford, Ontario. This role involves utilizing GPS dispatching software and coordinating communication for efficient operations.

Miller is seeking a Dispatcher Student working towards a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a valid G2/G license. Daily tasks include managing orders, scheduling drivers, and generating reports that track operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee GPS dispatching software for operations

• Receive and enter orders accurately for timely dispatch

• Schedule drivers and manage broker loads effectively

• Generate reports to monitor operational performance

• Act as backup to the Dispatch Supervisor as needed

Requirements:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

• Valid G2/G License required

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
