Licensed Hair Stylist

You will deliver exceptional hair styling, coloring, balayage, highlights, etc., as well as beautiful lash services. Your creativity and technical skills will help clients look and feel their best while providing outstanding customer service in a lively, supportive environment. • Perform professional hair styling, including cuts, blowouts, updos, and advanced techniques such as hair extensions and coloring using color theory principles.
• Apply eyelash extensions with precision to enhance clients' natural beauty while maintaining strict sanitation standards.
• Conduct consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable hair care products or additional services like makeup application or nail care.
• Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY, ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow.
• Upsell retail products and additional services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue through retail sales and retail math skills.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work environment adhering to all sanitation protocols; sterilize tools like straight razors and implement proper hygiene practices.
• Assist with front desk duties including client communication, appointment scheduling, and store management tasks to ensure a seamless salon experience.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering, hair threading, or advanced styling techniques; foster a positive team atmosphere.

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or barber with a strong portfolio of hair styling, coloring, and extension work.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment management and retail tracking.
• Skilled in various hair techniques including hair care, hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading; familiarity with color theory is a plus.
• Experience applying eyelash extensions with attention to detail and client comfort; certification in eyelash extension application preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and personalized service delivery.
• Ability to perform makeup application and nail care services is advantageous but not required.
• Demonstrated understanding of sanitation standards within a salon environment; ability to sterilize tools like straight razors properly.
• Retail sales experience with an aptitude for upselling products such as hair care items or cosmetics to enhance client satisfaction.
